     Havin chosen the legendary Pancho Villa as my iconic person focus, I conducted an investigation into his life in order to surface the values that were so preciouses and irreplaceable to him. Initially Pancho Villa grew in a peasant lifestyle with what was considered a middle-class family in Mexico. He then grew to become a bandit and later on in the midst of the Mexican revolution a respectable general. In order to honor those things that were unatonable to him, I surrounded my ideas with present day modernism and luxury with a Mexican outside blend in an architectural art style for the buildings structure in itself, all while being located in the heart of Mexico for a site. hanging from the edges of a cliff next to a waterfall, the building is a sequence of 3 spaces, In the north side you are greeted by a series of pillars that provide roofing support for a front porch exterior hallway that shades the front doors. Passing those doors, one enters the single large bedroom that takes up nearly half of the interior space which has its own skylight and windows off the side. Moving on to the last and largest space, taking half of the building's interior the living room space is a fusion of exterior exotics and simplistic luxurious modernism, walled by small trees a platform leads to a staircase over a rock formation that carries a small body of water. At ends of the staircase the main space also walled by small trees has green life in the perimeters of the room, creating a feeling of the outside as Pancho Villa experienced and loved so much within the comforts of a couch and along with a modern fireplace in the middle. On the walls top to bottom thick glass and skylights make up a large percentage of the wall's space, maximizing natural lighting and a beauty of a sight towards the outsides of Mexico. In the exterior space of the house there are fenced walkways that guide towards the back of the house at edges of the cliff where a balcony rests at the edge of the building. Making a new modern house for Pancho Villa a memorable place for his past in the future.
